VP Marketing & Communication

Job description

We are searching for a VP Marketing & Communication to take up the responsibility for MarCom across TrackMan. The key focus is to develop the TrackMan brand, produce high-quality content, generate relevant leads for Global Sales, drive all digital channels and expand the use of digital marketing, and manage participation in selected events.


TrackMan is a fast-growing sports technology company that helps athletes in golf, baseball, American football, and soccer get the most out of their game and make their experience more engaging. Our products combine radar and vision-based tracking, advanced algorithms, and applications across platforms including sports simulators. We are an integrated part of the daily lives of the world’s sports superstars, the largest, professional teams, and millions of amateurs across the world. 


We develop and manufacture our products primarily in Vedbæk, Denmark, and sell them globally. We are around 500 employees globally, primarily in our offices in Denmark, the US, Japan, and Korea. We are privately owned which allows us to make decisions fast.


The job 
You will be leading MarCom in TrackMan with a primary focus on golf. Key tasks for you and the team are: 

  • Developing and executing the brand strategy in TrackMan 
  • Working closely with the Product Owners to co-develop and execute the product marketing strategies 
  • Developing campaigns and producing high-quality content across platforms to support our world-leading products 
  • Bringing customer insights into how we interact with customers and drive segmentation 
  • Ensuring lead generation to the Global Sales organization and systematic tracking of marketing effectiveness 
  • Developing and scaling our digital marketing platform and managing our marketing data 
  • Managing global fairs such as TrackMan’s presence at the PGA Show and supporting commercial projects such as TrackMan hosted tournaments Developing material for corporate branding with HR 
  • Developing the Marketing Team and the employees to support TrackMan’s growth


You will lead a strong team of ten marketing professionals with solid experience from leading agencies, and with a professional and creative culture. 

You will work at our office in Vedbæk, Denmark. You should expect 20-40 travel days per year. You report to the Chief Operating Officer and are a member of TrackMan’s Leadership Team.

Requirements

The right candidate 

You have experience: 

  • From a tier-1 marketing agency or from a tier-1 consulting company, and can develop and produce high-quality campaigns and content that fit internationally. Minimum 10 years of experience
  • With most marketing disciplines and have strong capabilities within digital marketing and analytics
  • With technology and/or sport or entertainment
  • With the needs of both Product Management and a Global Sales organization
  • From working with and communicating to both consumers and smaller businesses
