Talent Acquisition Specialist

Job description

Do you have a sharp eye for spotting talent within Research and Development? Are you a strong communicator and an experienced user of SOME? Then we need your help,  in close collaboration with the organization, to support the growth of our business.

Our company and technology

TrackMan is a Danish privately owned fast-growing sports technology company that helps athletes in golf, baseball, American football, and soccer get the most out of their game. Our products combine radar- and vision-based tracking devices, applications, and even sports simulators. We are an integrated part of the daily lives of the world's sports superstars, the largest professional teams, and millions of amateurs worldwide.

Today, our headquarters is located in Vedbaek, Denmark, and there are offices in New York, Phoenix, Poland, Japan, and Korea. Of the more than 400 people we employ worldwide, more than 150 are engaged in R&D in Vedbaek. The revenue of TrackMan has grown 25% on average in the past four years, reaching revenue of more than 740 million DKK in 2020 with continued strong growth.

What we can offer you

The key to success is our people. You will play a pivotal role in attracting the best people and be given responsibility from day one. Our team is lean but agile and consists of an HR Operations Coordinator, a Payroll Specialist, Head of HR, and the newly created Talent Acquisition Specialist. We have our individual responsibilities but work closely to support and leverage each other's strengths. As your leader, I promise to do my very best to make you succeed every day. What that means for you, we will define together – but I promise that I'll have your back, empower you, and do my best to make this job a great learning experience.

The Job

As our Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will play an instrumental role in attracting and recruiting the best talent as we continue to grow our business. Your primary responsibility is to find, contact, and build effective relationships with passive job seekers in hard-to-fill roles using LinkedIn and alternative search and recruiting techniques. Many of these are within Research & Development. You will work closely with the hiring managers to understand the role requirements and where to find a qualified pool of talents. For selected roles, you will handle the initial screening and deliver long-listed candidates to hiring managers.

You will also contribute to our Employer Branding activities. You will create engaging content (visual and written) for web and social media that promotes our value proposition, values, and successes. You will be handling community management, content management, and ad-hoc activity on channels such as LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, Glassdoor, and Indeed. You will work closely with Marketing & Communication and Research & Development in preparing and hosting external events for our target groups and contribute to a good onboarding experience for new employees.

Requirements

The right candidate

  • Ideally, you have experience with talent sourcing and possess knowledge about general recruitment processes and recruitment-related activities.
  • Your background can vary, but a can-do attitude and the ability to quickly get acquainted with new areas; people, jobs, systems, industries, problems, are essentials.
  • You thrive with approaching and engaging potential candidates, whether on the phone, in writing, or Face-to-face at events and fairs.
  • You are a strong and engaging communicator (written, video, SoMe, etc.) and a good listener, so you understand the need of the business.
  • You have a creative spike and are an experienced user of SOME.
  • You understand that HR is here to support the business, connect easily to others, and have an outgoing nature. You are curious to learn and have high expectations of your and others' performance.
  • You have high integrity and are a team player.

  • You are fluent in English and Danish in writing and speaking.
