Do you have a passion for improving products and software quality?
And do you thrive when developing market-leading sport technologies?
Then we can offer you an exciting opportunity as part of the R&D Tracking Department. As TrackMan keeps growing, we are constantly striving to further develop, produce and deploy our market leading sport tracking solutions. We are looking to strengthen our team with an experienced and highly motivated software engineer with deep knowledge of build pipelines, system monitoring and cloud.
Who are we:
The Tracking Department is a software department, which consists of about 30 highly skilled developers with backgrounds in electrical engineering, computer science, mathematical modelling, physics and mathematics, with the primary task of converting raw Doppler radar signals and high-resolution video to actionable measurement data about ball flight and club swing. Data is consumed by athletes, coaches, teams and broadcasters to improve performance, analyze players, enhance viewing experience and more. Tracking algorithms are a central part of all Trackman products, and the department delivers software to more than 10 different products often having multiple release cycles per year. Most of the department works in our Vedbæk HQ, and we also have a team in Aarhus.
What is your role:
By filling this new position in the department, your role will be to anchor the backbone of the software development by ensuring smooth processes and efficient tools in support of feature development, testing, deployment and monitoring. You will work closely with senior software developers within the department, who have until now covered most aspects of this position, to maintain, further develop and eventually expand on the solutions, processes and tools.
You have an interest in solid software tools, processes and quality and can take an active role in promoting these in a balance with established practices. You can guide junior and senior developers alike, who are experts in other fields than computer science, to use your work, and you can convert input on roadblocks and inefficiencies to new ideas for tools and workflows in support of the entire department.
What will you be doing:
Build pipelines and deployment
System monitoring and analysis
Cloud processing and storage
You are expected to take developer responsibility, support R&D Tracking team and scout new features and systems within the above-mentioned areas.
