TrackMan is looking for an ambitious and business-oriented Head of Product, who is ready to take ownership of our Professional Golf solutions being sold to coaches, playing professionals, equipment manufacturers and retailers – all over the world. Your main objective is to deliver value adding experiences to all these customer, ensuring that TrackMan will remain the preferred choice by all professional users in the future.

The position is anchored in Business Development Golf, allowing you to work with several senior stakeholders in a very dynamic environment – driven by our passion for the product, the customer, and the game of golf!


Key responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

  • Own the overall vision, strategy, and roadmap for Professional Golf
  • Develop and expand business models (incl. pricing) across products
  • Support large/strategic deals with expertise and cross-market insights
  • Being primary expert within your domain (Professional Golf) by maintaining a close feedback loop with the market (customers, competitors) and internal, market-facing functions (sales, operations, support)
  • Drive early-stage conceptualization and concept exploration via UI/UX and working groups including architects, project managers, key developers etc.
  • Create solution concepts (user flows outlined in wireframe across products) that can be anchored with Agile Product Owners for complete refinement & execution
  • Manage the current Agile Product Owner (and potentially others in the future) – and ensure the broader development team is motivated and thriving professionally and personally at TrackMan
  • Work with Marketing to develop branding, key material, campaigns, and other market communication (no responsibility related to execution of this material)

To be sufficiently close to the market, it is expected that you are in the market around 1 week per 5 weeks. Travels will mainly be across Europe, US and to also key markets in Asia (Japan, Korea).

Requirements

Are you our new colleague?

You have an educational background in business, technology, engineering or similar. We expect 10 years of working experience with competencies covering one or more of the following: product development, business development, project management and sales. It is a big plus if you have prior product development experience, allowing you to know the dynamics of product teams and what it is like to work with designers and SW architects to create user journeys in digital products.

We expect you to have a commercial mindset, and to take an analytic approach to your tasks. You are a good communicator and presenter that listens to other’s ideas before presenting your own. You are persistent and have a proven ability to deliver high-quality products to the market. Experience with working in a collaborative and international environment is a plus.


Given the nature of this role, deep understanding and passion for golf is necessary, as you will be exposed to the very top of the industry. You have in the past played golf at high level (low single digit) or you have prior industry experience. The ideal candidate knows TrackMan in detail through hands-on-experience and demonstrates strong business acumen together with a desire to create better golf experiences for professional users.
